Summary

PS LTD are currently looking for an experienced CNC Miller/programmer for our client based in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient and accurate production of parts.

An ideal candidate would be able to :-

Program, Set and Operate using Heidenhain control systems
Have the ability to write and edit programs
Be fully conversant with reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Work towards tight tolerances
Has experience with medium/large volume batch work of large components
Confident in working on parts up to 2m in length, using lifting equipment provided.
Must have served an apprenticeship in CNC machining and be able to produce your papers or demonstrate 10 years working experience within your work history.
Excellent working knowledge of 3-4 axis CNC machines, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances
ISO 9001-2015 experience would be beneficial
Have strong communication and time management skills.
Be able to work under own initiative.
Be a team player.
Hours of work - 39 hours per week

Pay -_ Dependant on experience, to be discussed at interview stage where you will be asked to demonstrate your experience._
