Summary
Are you an experienced CNC Operative looking for a permanent role in the Technical industry? Look no further! Our client in Huthwaite is seeking a skilled individual to join their team. Our client manufactures quartz, granite and marble work tops and supplies them to the building and commericial sectors as well as the public.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and 7am to 2pm on a FridayKey responsibilities:-Understand the production schedule and able to work to targeted expectations-Able to read and understand production drawings to complete work to the correct standardsand quality expectations of the business-Loading worksurfaces onto work benches using lifting equipment (gantry crane/vacuumhandler)-Knowledge and ability to use various air and electrically supplied hand tooling(polishers/grinders/drills etc) preferred-Able to polish and fabricate Quartz and Granite surfaces to a high standard ensuring allquality checks are made before loading onto racks for the installer collection-Understanding of any additional items required to add to relevant orders (sinks/wastes/carekits, etc)-Completing Factory job sheets correctly and handing into your manager once the job iscompleted-Flexible and able to work in other areas of the business as and when required-Assistance in unloading/loading materials and stock control/checks as required by yourmanager-Regularly maintain and look after any tooling used and keep your working area in a cleanand tidy condition at all times-Comply with all Health and Safety procedures relevant to your working area-Knowledge and ability to use Granite and Quartz Bridge saws or machine-based sawoperations preferred-Following the supplied cutting plan, cut orders efficiently and accurately from the requiredslab material-Ensure stock movement sheets are completed logging slab numbers used and any offcutsthat have been keptQualifications:- Previous experience working as a CNC Operative - Proficiency in reading technical drawings - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of £11.50 to £13.50 per hour.
