Hours: 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time only
Start Date: Monday 2nd September 2024
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work within our friendly team at Fairwater Primary School. The role will involve promoting learning and provision in our mixed age, Reception/Year 1, class.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should also be able to show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of learning experiences, and thrive working in a dynamic and dedicated school team.
We are looking to appoint highly committed and enthusiastic practitioners who will:
* Support the learning of pupils in classes under in the class.
* Encourage and support pupils with additional learning needs.
* Be a positive role model in terms of restorative behaviour and spoken language.
* Work as part of a strong team.
* Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly and constructively as part of a team.
* Have experience of working with primary age children and an aptitude to work with groups of pupils in a Foundation Learning setting.
* Be able to appreciate and support the role of other professionals.
* Be prepared to participate in development and training opportunities.
* Be able to work under the direction of the class teacher to ensure high quality learning takes place.
* Work sensitively with parents to ensure the well-being of all pupils.
* Ensure confidentiality at all times and procedures are adhered to.
