About the role

Base Location: Glasgow or Perth

Salary: up to £40,246 and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The key duties and responsibilities of the Technical Services Data Technician are as follows:

- Management of all protection asset information, including IEDs and auxiliary relays and equipment.

- Management of control system asset information such as remote terminal units, bay controllers, network switches and GPS clocks.

- Ensuring Key Performance Indicator information is maintained for all Technical Services assets.

- Data review and assurance checks on all inputs to protection and control asset database (IPS) from Engineering teams throughout project delivery and handover into business-as-usual activities.

- Ensuring accuracy of this information such that statutory and internal reporting requirements can be implemented, and appropriate business planning activities carried out.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Minimum SVQ Level 3 in engineering discipline, HNC preferred. Experience in a similar role within the power systems industry will be considered.

- Excellent understanding and use of Microsoft Office. Advantageous to have experience of other systems such as Vault, ESRI ArcGIS and IPS.

- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

- Full UK driving licence.
