Job Title: Project Manager - Large Infrastructure Project

Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

Are you a seasoned Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a significant infrastructure project in Coventry? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our clients team and oversee a large-scale project involving earthworks, highways and structures. This role requires strong project management skills, client interaction experience, and proficiency with NEC4 contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve milestones and deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Utilise NEC4 contracts effectively, ensuring compliance and managing risk throughout the project.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to oversee construction activities and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project lead in earthworks and ideally testing.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of NEC4 contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface directly with clients, providing excellent client-facing skills.
  • Previous experience leading projects independently, with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Previous experience leading projects in excess of £20 million.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Relevant industry experience in project management, particularly in earthworks and infrastructure projects.
