Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 5 to support IDA and Surveillance Service with the Gastroenterology Care Group.

The Administration Service is an efficient and high-quality service that is supportive of patients, medical and nursing staff and Multi-Disciplinary stakeholders who are responsible for the provision of surgical and critical care. The activities and responsibilities for the Speciality Administration Manager will be, and not exhaustive to:
• Manage and develop the administration activities for IDA.
• Manage accurate records within patient administration system.
• Coordinate, monitor, input and analyse data within a given time frame for various national & local audits, directorate meetings.
• Ensure administrative workflow efficiencies.
• Lead and motivate the team members within an admin team environment to deliver administrative support to a range of speciality based clinical services.
• Manage team's performance and deliver activity within agreed standard operating procedure and to defined quality standards.
• Develop and implement standardised approaches to administrative work within the areas of responsibility.
• Collection, recording and monitoring of data quality standards.

The IDA Cancer Services Project Officer post is a new and exciting opportunity to broaden and strengthen project management experience, and support the delivery of key sustainability and transformation projects, facilitating and monitor progress to ensure delivery of projects and effective and sustainable improvements for patients and staff.

The Project Officer will work with, and support, key stakeholders in the implementation of change projects, financial sustainability and quality improvement initiatives, in setting up structures, documentation and reporting for all projects related to Cancer Service.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The IDA Cancer Services Project Officer post is a new and exciting opportunity to broaden and strengthen project management experience, and support the delivery of key sustainability and transformation projects, facilitating and monitor progress to ensure delivery of projects and effective and sustainable improvements for patients and staff.

The Project Officer will work with, and support, key stakeholders in the implementation of change projects, financial sustainability and quality improvement initiatives, in setting up structures, documentation and reporting for all projects related to Cancer Services

Main duties of the job:

• Support the efficient running of the Cancer Services Project Management Team

• Required to support, facilitate and monitor the progress of numerous project/workstreams and service improvements, reporting progress and issues.

• Working as part of the Cancer Services Project Management team they will also be required to provide support, training andguidance to other project staff as needed.

• Expected to provide a professional, positive and approachable support resource, demonstrating excellent stakeholder relationship management, reliability and consistency of service. Team working is a fundamental part of the role.

• Responsible for specific elements of Cancer Services Transformational projects including highly specialised project co-ordination, meeting governance, risk assessment and mitigations, performance monitoring of project reporting, application of an audit process for project management, and co-ordinating a document control system.
