Grade 3 - 37.5 hours SCP 7 – 12

8:15 am -4:15pm Monday to Friday

Permanent (Term time only on a pro rata basis)


Edwardsville Primary School is looking to appoint a skilled Administration Clerk. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), good time management, the ability to cope under pressure and the ability to relate well to children, staff, parents and visitors to the school.

This role will include:
General daily procedures
Assisting in developing positive relationships with parents
Managing manual and computerised record/information systems including SIMs
Undertaking complex financial administration procedures and cash handling
Liaising with parents and carers regarding dinner money balances and any relevant welfare issues
The successful candidate will be:
• be highly organised with excellent inter-personal skills.
• be welcoming to the school community and visitors.
• be able to work effectively as part of a dedicated hard-working team.
• be able to demonstrate excellent ICT, literacy and numeracy skills.
• be able to demonstrate a high level of personal initiative.
• be trustworthy and professional.
• have a Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English
• be able to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis.
• have experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills
• have a high level of verbal and written communication standards
• have a proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines
