We have an exciting opportunity for Anaesthetic Practitioners to join our expanding team at UHS
Our Anaesthetic Practitioner team supports specialised services for adults and children within the operating department and across the organisation.

We have 35 operating theatres with multiple specialities, both scheduled and unscheduled services. These include Orthopaedics, Vascular, Thoracics, General Surgery, ENT - Max Fac, Cardiac and Neuro. We also cover external areas including X Ray, CT, MRI, Endoscopy, Angio and Cardiac Catheter Labs. We care for adults and children of all ages. We also support our colleagues in ED with Major Trauma cases.

You must be an ODP or a Nurse with a recognised anaesthetic qualification to apply for this role.
You will work alongside our Anaesthetist colleagues as an integral part of the theatre team, ensuring patient safety.

You will build on your existing experience, following your induction to the department we will support you to gain skills and knowledge in new areas of practice.

You will be a clear and effective communicator, both in face to face and written contexts

Your shift pattern will include some evenings, nights and weekends to ensure our emergency service is covered.
