Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Reviews Officer (Homelessness) to join our team. As a Reviews Officer, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring their cases are reviewed thoroughly and in a timely manner. Your dedication and commitment to helping those in need will make a significant impact on improving the lives of our most vulnerable community members.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of homelessness cases, assessing the needs and circumstances of individuals and families
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather information and evidence for each case review
Analyze and evaluate gathered information to determine the appropriate course of action
Provide guidance and recommendations to individuals seeking assistance with homelessness issues
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to prevent and address homelessness
Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to homelessness
Maintain detailed records and documentation of all case reviews and related activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
Previous experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness is strongly preferred
Knowledge of local and national homelessness policies and programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Rate: £21.28
