Ysgol Hen Felin is a highly regarded, sector leading special school which caters for pupils with severe learning difficulties, Profound and Multiple learning difficulties, and pupils on the autistic spectrum. The school is situated on two sites. The main site is located at Ystrad Rhondda with a satellite provision based in the local college. You may be required to work across both sites although we would look to deploy staff according to their skill set.
Due to increasing pupil numbers, the Governing Body are seeking to appoint a number of forward thinking and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (Level 2). Experience of working with pupils who have additional learning needs (ALN) is essential.
