Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
Lead small group activities and interventions.
Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress.
Provide one-on-one support for students with additional learning needs.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supervise students during break times, on school trips, and during other activities as required.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to the preparation of reports.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
Requirements:
HLTA qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and educational strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo the process).
