Summary
We are looking for experienced care assistants to provide flexible shift cover in the Alvaston area of Derby on days. This role offers weekly pay for the hours that you work!
If you are a care assistant with experience of working within a busy care or nursing home, then we would love to hear from you!
You will be working alongside the existing friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best of care to elderly residents living with various age-related illness with the home predominately providing care to those living with various levels of Dementia.
Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care to the residents.
- Assisting the residents with their mobility (inc. use of Hoists)
- Preparing and serving light meals to the residents
- Preparing and recording fluid intakes
- Undertaking domestic duties as required.
- Ensuring that health and safety procedures are always followed.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12months or registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- A referenceable work history with at least 3 months of UK based care experience within a care or nursing home

You will be working either:
07:00 to 14:30
14:30 to 21:00
07:00 to 21:00
Available hours will usually be communicated out on a weekly basis and can be on days from Mondy through to Sunday.
