Summary
Support Workers needed in Derby - apply now and start ASAP!
The home caters to the everyday needs of service users living with mental health illnesses, focusing on individualised care plans, and providing a friendly face.
The service users may have had traumatic experiences previously therefore, this role requires a calm and patient person to help them overcome their past and have a brighter future. You will help them learn the necessary life skills that will enable them to live independently at 18.
You will be following essential care plans that are tailored to each service user which will help them getting used to a routine with an aim to promote enhanced independence from the service user.

To apply for this role you must;
- Have two employment references, one of which must be from a supported-living setting
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a minimum of 6 months of paid UK work experience working within a support service.
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This role is ongoing
You will be working from 07:00 to 19:00 with hours being available on various days from Monday to Sunday.
You will be paid:
£11.50 per hour (Mon to Fri)
£11.75 per hour (Sat & Sun)
