Summary

Pre-School Manager
Salary c. £16ph (depending on experience and qualifications)
Term time only (@39 weeks per year), 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Queens Road Pre School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Pre-School Manager to join our happy and successful team.
We are seeking an individual who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for up to 30 children aged 2 years 6 months to 4 years.

Main responsibilities of the Pre-School Manager:
• The Pre-School Manager oversees the day-to-day running of the Pre-School in line with the statutory framework, aiming for the highest standards of care. You'll lead the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stages.
• An enthusiastic and inspirational manager, your leadership style will motivate your staff team ensuring the children are well looked after, content and stimulated and their parents are happy too.
• Arranging staffing/rotas in accordance with statutory regulations and budgets and overseeing the planning and record keeping.
• Naturally you'll be a great communicator as you'll not only need to engage and encourage the children; maintain excellent relationships with parents; and develop and maintain professional working relationships with local authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
• Mostly though, your passion for seeing the children develop, grow and progress will be what helps you make this role a success.

The ideal candidate will;
• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
• Have experience of working with children under the age of five.
• Have experience at Manager or Deputy Manager level within an Early Years environment.
• Be qualified to CACHE, NVQ, NNEB level 3 (or equivalent) in childcare
• Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS)
