Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housing Officer to join our team. As a Housing Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating housing services within our organization. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families by ensuring they have access to safe and affordable housing options.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the allocation and management of housing resources, including the maintenance and upkeep of properties. You will work closely with tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders to ensure that housing needs are met and that all services are delivered in a professional and efficient manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting housing assessments, resolving tenancy disputes, and providing support and advice to those in need.

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should have a strong understanding of housing legislation and regulations, and be able to navigate complex systems and processes. Previous experience in a similar housing role is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Oversee allocation and management of housing resources
Coordinate maintenance and repairs for properties
Conduct housing assessments and determine eligibility for housing services
Resolve tenancy disputes and provide advice and support to tenants
Develop and maintain positive relationships with landlords and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with housing legislation and regulations
Provide reports and updates on housing activities to management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Previous experience in a housing role
Strong knowledge of housing legislation and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
