Summary


This is an exciting opportunity to recruit a full time Consultant Forensic / General Adult Psychiatrist, to join a dynamic and developing forensic service. This role is based at St Ann’s Hospital in Poole and covers working Trust wide over the whole of Dorset.

The post holder will work within the Dorset Forensic Service, comprising the community forensic team and cross cover of Twynham, the low secure ward, when the consultant is on leave.

The post holder will be one of 3 consultants in the team with a WTE of 2.6 consultants.

We are looking to a recruit an enthusiastic and conscientious professional who is dedicated to providing the best care for our service users and have values (compassion, excellence and expertise) and a vision (Better Every Day) that resonates with that of the Trust.

This role is based at St Ann’s Hospital in Poole and covers working trust wide over the whole of Dorset. The post holder will work within the Dorset Forensic Service, comprising the community forensic team (CQC outstanding) and Twynham ward the low secure unit (CQC good).
