Summary
This Walsall school is a 'special place to learn and work. Everyone is valued and respected and all work as a team' (Ofsted October 2019). The school is designated for pupils with moderate learning difficulties. However, the majority of our pupils have additional needs, including autism, speech, language and communication difficulties and some behavioural needs. All pupils are taught in small classes, which have teaching assistants in addition to the teacher.

The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching the music curriculum to the whole school.
The role involves planning and delivering engaging music lessons, organising performances and events, and supporting the overall development of students' musical abilities.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and proficiency in music theory, music performance, and music education
Proficiency in playing the piano would be an advantage
Experience of teaching music to students of various ages, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to inspire and motivate students in their musical journey.
A passion for music and a commitment to fostering a love for music in students.
