Summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Dispenser/Technician to join our busy Pharmacy team at TrustMed Pharmacy.
The successful candidates will be required to take part in the weekend, evening, bank holiday and on call rota's.
We currently have the following vacancies:
1 x 40 hour Technician (must have NVQ level 3) or 1 x 40 hour dispenser (must have NVQ level 2)
The primary role is the dispensing and issuing of medicines for outpatients. This includes the dispensing of controlled drugs and oral cytotoxic. In addition you will need to ensure accurate stock control of medicines, maintain the replenishment of sundries and participate in keeping the dispensary clean and tidy.

TrustMed Pharmacy is the outpatient pharmacy for University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL), providing outpatient pharmacy services to patients at each of the three main hospital sites within Leicester.
To provide accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with standard
operating procedures and under the supervision of a registered pharmacy professional, by:
Successfully completing the dispensing assessment to accurately dispense medicines.
Dispensing and labelling prescriptions accurately, safely and in a timely fashion.
Maintaining accurate manual and computer records.
Communicating with other members of the pharmacy team, customers and patients to
solve problems and ensure high standards of service.
Supporting optimal stock management including date checking
