Description
We are currently seeking an Estate Food Waste Recycling Support Officer (Sc6) to join our team. As an Estate Food Waste Recycling Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and promoting our estate's food waste recycling initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable practices and make a positive impact on our environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders, including estate residents, tenants, and waste management teams, to promote food waste recycling initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and address any issues related to food waste recycling.
Develop and deliver training programs and education campaigns to increase awareness and knowledge about food waste recycling best practices.
Monitor and analyze data related to food waste recycling, including collection rates and diversion rates, and develop strategies to improve these metrics.
Participate in community outreach activities, such as workshops and events, to engage residents and promote the benefits of food waste recycling.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to food waste recycling activities, including collection schedules and communication logs.
Stay informed about industry trends and developments in food waste recycling and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, waste management, or a related field.
Previous experience in waste management or recycling programs is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of local waste management regulations and sustainability practices.
