Our Commitment to you is to help you gain the level 2 apprentice standard inCustomer Service Practitionerwithin a 14 month contract. Hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week.

As part of the apprenticeship programme you will you will learn in the workplace, have access to study sessions, a mentor and a training provider. This is an excellent opportunity to earn while you learn. This post is ideal for someone who wants an understanding of a customer service role which will provide them with transferable skills.

You will become part of a talented, passionate team of people, committed to providing the best care and treatment to patients. On top of your basic salary, you will receive 27 days holiday each year, plus a range of other benefits including occupational health and counselling services.

Your primary role will involve working with a busy and expanding admin team, preparing medical notes, working as the front face in our ENT clinics, general admin duties including spread sheet work and filing.
• To prep allocated consultants clinic notes.
• Sit on the main clinic and report patient attendance.
• Ensure all relevant information required for Outpatient appointments is recorded in the case notes.
• To update any missing outcomes on reports.
• To attend in-service training or meetings to ensure that skills knowledge are kept up-to-date and appropriate to post.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role and service needs.

1. Ensure accurate and timely processing of clinical and administrative correspondence.

2. Prioritise work in appropriate order to ensure work is completed within agreed target times.

3. Clinical preparation specifically retrieval of notes, filing, tracking in and out.

4. Photocopying, filling, or any administrative duties as deemed necessary to support the patient journey.

5. To utilise the Track-It system to update case note tracking.

6. To ensure all outcomes are recorded accurately both paper and electronic.

7. To attend all mandatory training as required by the CMG/Trust
