Summary


We have a great opportunity for a Band 4 Clinical Support Worker within the Urology Prostate Diagnostic Team at Royal Free Hospital.

This role aims to support the prostate Diagnostic Nurse Specialists in the management of their patients and specifically in their care throughout the prostate diagnostic pathway. This provides a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute to improving the overall experience of patient care for those patients with a potential prostate cancer diagnosis.

You will be working within a friendly and supportive team with an interdisciplinary approach to care. You must be able to communicate well and sensitively with service users and staff and be committed and passionate about improving the experience of the patients by providing the interventions of personalized cancer care. You should be well organized and have excellent computer skills.

The role will be based across all the Royal Free London sites; Barnet, Chase Farm and the Royal Free.

Co-ordinate care by providing a single point of access, including rapid re-entry into the system for those people identified as having urgent or specialist needs

Co-ordinate care for people with non-complex care needs (Level One – Supported self-management – NCSI risk stratification model)

Co-ordinate education and support for people with non-complex care needs (Level One – Supported self-management – NCRI risk stratification model)

Provide administrative and clinical support to the specialty cancer clinicalNurse Specialists
