Summary
Full time nursery cook at Chinley Day Nursery.
We are looking for an enthusiastic cook to join our nursery team, full time or part time hours would be considered. Any additional training would be offered.
The job role would include
-To prepare fresh and healthy cooked meals for the children on site, approximately 60 children per day as well as preparing a snack tea.
-Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements is essential
-Managing and organising the ordering of food and supplies and stock in the kitchen, and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.
-To continue to keep the high standards of food hygiene the nursery kitchen currently holds in line with 'The Food Standards Agency'.
-Maintain open and closing checks on the kitchen daily.
-Ensure the kitchen and equipment is kept clean and any broken equipment is recorded and reported.
-Uniform provided.
-Yearly performance bonus.
-Monthly staff treats.
