Summary

Cadwyn is a community housing association based in Cardiff. We are a diverse business with experience in social housing management and development, social lettings, market lets and sales, commercial regeneration and an amazing recycling project.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Surveyor to join the Asset Team within our Property & Maintenance Services Department.

The department manages all maintenance related services for Cadwyn properties, and we provide a reactive and planned maintenance service for over 1500 properties.

This role is responsible for assessing the conditions of customers' homes, ensuring they comply with the necessary standards and ensure we are providing cost effective management of our assets. You will be working with all departments to provide data about our property portfolio to allow for effective decisions to be made on maintenance services.

At Cadwyn our staff work in an agile way, working mostly at home (if appropriate to the role) with the ability to hot desk at our main office in Cardiff or to work from any other suitable/convenient location.

What we need:
Experience of delivering planned maintenance contracts
Experience of managing a stock condition database
Knowledge of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard
Strong maintenance and repairs skills background
Experience of working with tenants
The ability to work with minimal supervision, manage own workload and take responsibility for achieving results
Willingness to support Cadwyn's values
Full clean driving licence
