Summary

Quantity Surveyor

Acorn by Synergie is delighted to be representing an established South Wales contractor looking to recruit a new member to their commercial team.

The company specialise in commercial contracts working alongside many of the largest contractors across South Wales.

You will be joining a successful business with an excellent reputation and portfolio of projects.

The role:-

The business are flexible around levels of experience and would like to consider applications from trainee QS through to an established individual with extensive experience.

The salary package will be dictated by the right candidate and the level of experience.

Duties:-

Collaborate with project managers and the site teams and subcontractors to optimise project costs and value

Working with suppliers - agreeing material costs/ carry out take offs for material procurement.

Take off quantities.

Completing and submitting tenders to win new business.

Preparation and submitting interim valuations.

Carrying out measures on site for subcontractors

Other information:-

Work will predominately be from a base in Cardiff with the majority of work in the South Wales area.

Driving license will be required to travel between sites.

This is a full time permanent opportunity.
