Summary
Personal Assistant required for a seventeen-year-old autistic young lady residing near Illogan.
She would like someone who she can build up a relationship with and provide her with some regular support.
A personal assistant will help her to enjoy activities in the local community, increase her independency and promote her health and wellbeing.
She enjoys horse riding, cold water swimming and exercising at the gym.
Hourly rate £12.00 per hour plus expenses.
Four hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some evening, weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver and access to own vehicle is essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with SEND is a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
