Summary

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Teaching Assistant who will work to support our classroom teachers in providing classroom management within mainstream classes and in our Student Support Centre with a specific focus on visual impairment and physical needs. The successful candidate will work to provide general support to our Special Educational Needs children, developing braille materials for visually impaired students in lessons. Being a Teaching Assistant at Guiseley School, no two days will be the same. Our students are in need of a very special teaching assistant who will support them with an array of complex and challenging behaviours.

Salary scales for Guiseley School are part of Leeds City Council’s NJC PayScale’s. Salary information detailed is pro-rated to reflect the ‘take home’ pay for the successful candidate.
