Summary


LED FY2 Doctor in Geriatric Medicine - Intermediate Care Unit

We have a vacancy for a LED FY2 level Doctor in Geriatric Medicine at the Irvine Unit , Bexhill for 12 month fixed term period with a view to extending.

We offer a multidisciplinary workplace caring for patients receiving rehabilitation within the unit, day to day supervision is delivered by the Specialty Doctor, and there is a weekly consultant round. We are committed to providing training and study opportunities. You will be working in a team consisting of Consultant, Specialty Doctor and 1.5 FY2, we are currently advertising for both these posts, one at full time , and one at part time hours. There are no on-calls associate with these roles.

You will be encouraged to maintain a Personal Development Plan that can be used as evidence that all FY2 competencies have been achieved whilst in this post. We have an active structured teaching programme in both Conquest hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital, and you will be encouraged to take part in this.

Previous experience in Geriatric Medicine is not essential but candidates will require full GMC registration.
