Calderdale is committed to supporting various resettlement schemes for families relocating to Calderdale. Providing intense support and welcoming households to settle and integrate into the community.

To continue this work, we are looking to recruit a housing support worker who can support families to integrate, settle and thrive within communities of Calderdale. This will include supporting families living with hosts, orientation within Calderdale and connection to the local area and developing a support plan for the individuals. Partnership working with agencies that support the work we are required to carry out. Ensuring support provided to families is of a high standard and support plans, are completed with families and the records are comprehensive, accurate and up to date.

If you have recent experience of successfully supporting families, including ethnic minorities, have knowledge of services and referral pathways for families, children and vulnerable adults we would welcome your application. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills and be familiar with supporting families. Proven relevant experience is desirable. Ability to speak Ukrainian/Russian is desirable but not essential.
