Are you a teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with special educational needs (SEN)? If so, we have an exciting permanent full time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) for a creative and dedicated Tutor in Greenford, London. This is an office based role.

Joining our Supported Internship programme, you will become part of a friendly and supportive team focused on helping young people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties, and/or autism integrate into the world of work. As a Tutor, your role involves not only teaching English and Maths but also integrating these subjects into lessons on employability. Additionally, you will impart essential life skills that directly influence how your learners engage with their broader community.

If you are enthusiastic about creating dynamic and engaging lessons that go beyond traditional approaches, we want you on our team! This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of individuals with SEN, fostering their skills and independence in a meaningful way.

To facilitate and create your lesson plans, you will be given at least one day of planning and admin time a week.

Does this sound like you?

- Experience of supporting people
- Experience of delivering against targets
- Experience of working with a diverse group of learners
- A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
- Recognised teaching qualification at level 5 (DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, Level 3 PTTLs considered)
- Knowledge and experience of delivering and assessing functional skills English and Maths up to level 2
- Experience & knowledge of safe working practices
- Good classroom management skills and strategies
- Good time management and planning skills
