We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Family Link Worker to join our Dorset Families Matter - Family Link
Worker Service on a casual/bank basis (we would need people to commit to at least 1 day a week for 8 weeks to support a family)






* Your role will involve to provide short-term, intensive, hands-on support, direction and information to eligible families who
need intensive family support
* To provide effective support to the Lead Professional who is coordinating services, as part of a whole family approach and
contribute to/engage in the development and effective delivery of the family action plan as appropriate.
* To help families define their own goals, responding to individual needs and support the family to navigate and access relevant
services.

* To offer positive role modelling, practical and emotional support to families to improve independence and well-being.

  



This You will be required to travel within your designated area of work, a full driver’s licence and your own transport are
essential.
