Summary

Research Services



Research Services wishes to recruit a 0.5FTE Public Engagement, Outreach & Communications Coordinator to work on the Wellcome Trust funded project entitled “Effects of Polar Climate Change on Global Health and Healthcare”. The post is available for immediate start, and is fixed duration to align with the project length, ending on February 28, 2026.

Salary will be £32,332 per annum pro rata subject to knowledge, skills and experience.



In addition to the University of Exeter, this part-time position is supported by the science and operations team at Arctic Basecamp, as well as by adjunct support from other consortium members, including World Economic Forum, Deloitte South Africa, Aroha Geneva and our international advisory board. Candidates are expected to commit part-time (0.5FTE) to the role.



About you

The successful applicant will be pivotal in ensuring the grant’s objectives are achieved. Throughout this process, the postholder will liaise with the various investigators and researchers to ensure maximal efficiency, collaboration, scheduling and reporting.



The successful applicant will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders.
