Summary

Role: Support Worker

Location: Ilminster

Hours: Part-time, up to 30 hours or relief

Shifts: Monday to Friday – 4pm till 10pm, 10pm till 7am sleep in, 7am till 9am

Saturday to Sunday – 12pm till 10pm, 10pm till 7am sleep in

(Variety of shifts available which can be discussed at interview)

Pay rate: £11.75 per hour

(Full drivers licence required for this role)

Come join our fantastic team in Ilminster as a Support Worker!

At our services in Ilminster we have 9 houses situated within a communal courtyard and 2 outreach services supporting a variety of people who all enjoy living life to the fullest.

The site if a happy and fun environment with lots of activities happening throughout the day, evening and on the weekends. The people we support here all have different interests such as; Beach BBQs, cinema trips, meeting with friends, military festivals, photography, cooking and so much more!

What is great about working here is the people we support love been involved within the local community whether that is attending festivals, cooking and sharing meals with neighbors, attending clubs, community summer events or even going to the town carnival they’re all super interested in trying news things and been a part of their community. The people we support have also just raised well over £700 for our organisation by running and walking their own Marathon!

This is a supporting role where experience is not essential. However, we need to ensure you have the right values and determination to positively impact the lives of the people we support, so we just ask that you come with the passion and drive to support individuals to achieve everything they want in their life. All training is provided and our team will be here to support you to become an amazing Support Worker. Professional development is also offered and there are lots of opportunities to progress in the organisation.
