The Governors of this happy, friendly school require an inspirational and highly motivated classroom teacher to join our committed team. This position is full-time. The successful candidate will teach within KS2 in the first instance and applications are welcomed from both ECTs and teachers at MPS.

It is essential that the successful candidate can:

Plan and teach well-structured lessons following the school’s plans and curriculum map
Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
Implement teaching strategies to support children to know more and remember more
Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment
Work as part of a team
Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
