Summary

Clee Hill Community Academy: Year 1 and 2 Teaching Position ECT/MPR

We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner with the ability to inspire our children and embrace their love of learning. As a school community, we work hard to ensure our pupils are happy and safe, and that they achieve their full potential. Visitors to the school often comment upon the school’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. The school was judged ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection in October 2023. The report was very positive and highlighted a number of areas of strength including the overall school culture. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent teaching position of 3 days (0.6 FTE) per week in a Year 1 and 2 mixed age class. We are looking for an outstanding teacher with strong subject knowledge, particularly in phonics, who is able to deliver creative lessons to inspires young learners. Applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs would be considered.  As a small school, we all work closely as a team and potential candidates will need to show a willingness to take a full part in the life of the school. Essential requirements:
• A consistent good or outstanding practitioner
• Have a passion for learning and be committed to delivering exciting and innovative learning experiences
• An excellent working knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Expectations of high standards – a relentless passion to always get the very best from pupils
• Strong phonics expertise to ensure effective and consistent teaching of early reading skills
• Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills including computer literacy
• Be a strong leader as well as a team player and have a willingness to lead a National Curriculum foundation subject
