Job Description

An opportunity has arisen with Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability’s Technical Support service for a CCTV Systems Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

Position Details

Our Technical Support team support various technical systems within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability, including our city-wide Public Space CCTV and our ‘Traffcom’ Traffic Management camera network.

The CCTV Systems Engineers carry out the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems including Public Space CCTV systems across the city. The role will involve delivering innovative and complex technical solutions, along with providing first line systems diagnostics.

Please note applicants must have a relevant trade qualification in a Security discipline, an Electrical trade qualification, or have served a modern apprenticeship in one of these disciplines. Additionally, a driving licence is essential for this role.

It would be advantageous that applicants have experience in IP CCTV and are familiar with IP CCTV installation, configuration, and fault finding.

The annual salary for the role starts at £35,220.36 per annum, progressing to £42,331.48 on an incremental scale. This is based on a 35-hour per week work pattern, working 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday inclusive of a 1-hour unpaid break each day.
