Summary
This air conditioning engineer job is a rare LOCAL role to the Wolverhampton area with limited travel and easy free parking. The role will only cover Wolverhampton area meaning You should only every travel 30mins - 45mins max from your home at any given time.
Each site has ample parking too, making it ideal for someone who is fed up of sitting in traffic on the M6 or fighting for parking spaces.
The role will involve looking after a number of commercial buildings which include depots, offices, leisure centres, schools, universities to name a few.
On site you will be responsible for carrying out air conditioning Service, Maintenance and Repair on commercial ac systems including splits, multi splits and some VRVs. You will only be responsible for AC systems and not get bogged down with basic PPM checks.
You will be working for a well established team and the work load is manageable and more 'relaxed' than some other regional or national contracts.
You will be on call one week in 8, but the calls are trained well so you wont be getting called out unnecessarily and isn't very active.
You will need to be a qualified air conditioning engineer. Ideally you will have F-Gas Cat 1 (or equivalent). You should be comfortable working on commercial air conditioning systems and happy to fault-find.
The role comes with brand new van, fuel card, death in service, regular pay reviews / increases and ongoing training and support.
The basic is a solid £40,000 + call out fee and the role does come with overtime opportunities so there is scope to earn more money on top. The van is a fully specked van with cruise control, air con and heating steering wheel, so decent spec.
