Job Description: We are seeking a Facilities & Site Co-Ordinator to join our team. The Facilities Co-ordinator will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient working environment for our employees and community.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance work, including and not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
• Lead on Fire Safety checks and all fire safety liaison with relevant Fire Legislation Officers and any relevant service providers. Maintain a comprehensive log which adheres to all legal requirements and update the Trust Manager to approve on a quarterly basis
• Maintain a planned preventative cyclical maintenance programme which minimises the sites fixtures, fittings and services are safe and fully functional.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Requirements:
• Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
