Summary
Carbon60 are recruiting for a Production Engineer to work for a large engineering company that provide pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.
This Production Engineer is on a temporary 12-month contract and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is apprenticeship trained (or a relevant qualification) and has worked within a related industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- Liaise with engineer to develop plans to improve production, costs and labour required.
- Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training
- Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take works well being into account.
- Obtaining any material and equipment required
Skills and Experience required:
- Degree in engineering is desired (other qualifications can be considered)
- Superb analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and other IT software
