Carbon60 are recruiting for a Production Engineer to work for a large engineering company that provide pumps, compressors, turbines, and generators.

This Production Engineer is on a temporary 12-month contract and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is apprenticeship trained (or a relevant qualification) and has worked within a related industry.

Role Responsibilities:

• Liaise with engineer to develop plans to improve production, costs and labour required.
• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training
• Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take works well being into account.
• Obtaining any material and equipment required

Skills and Experience required:

• Degree in engineering is desired (other qualifications can be considered)
• Superb analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office and other IT software
