Summary

We’re changing lives, including yours.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK with an international reputation and a tradition of innovation.

We are inviting applicants to join our well established and dynamic team of Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (ANNP). The successful candidate will already be a qualified ANNP through completion of the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.

You will have excellent and up-to-date clinical skills, knowledge and understanding of the needs of the sick neonate and their families. You will also be able to prioritize, use your own initiative, thrive under pressure and manage difficult situations effectively to ensure the provision of excellent patient care within the unit.

Our neonatal services are embedded in a state of the art unit situated immediately opposite Warren Street Tube station. We are ideally located in central London to enable you to access good transport links both nationally and internationally, which makes us perfectly positioned for when you are off duty too, as we’re located right in the heart of London’s West End.

We are a busy level three neonatal unit with close links with the other UCLH specialist hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Currently we care for 21 intensive / high dependency care babies including neurological cots for infant cooling, cardiology, complex deliveries – including EXIT procedures. The Unit also has 12 Special care cots and 12 transitional care beds.

If you are dedicated to contributing to a team delivering excellence in neonatal care/family integrated care and serious about pursuing a rewarding career at UCLH, the neonatal unit is definitely the place for you. You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated multidisciplinary team working within an internationally acclaimed Centre of excellence for neonatal and maternity care.
