Here at Purovets we have a wonderful opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse at an independent practice located in the Cathedral City of Worcester with excellent rail transport links to Birmingham.
Our client has been established in the area for over 50 years and has provided exceptional animal care to thousands of pets in the area during that time. This RCVS accredited practice is fully equipped with modern technology including an in-house laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, dentistry, blood sampling and much more.
You will be joining an experienced team of veterinary staff including 7 Vets, 14 RVN's/SVN's and 4 kennel assistants. The practice prides itself on their full nurse utilisation incorporating consults as well as schedule 3 procedures. All duties are shared equally amongst the nursing staff and areas of interest are actively encouraged.
The role will involve in-patient care, theatre work which includes prep and anaesthesia, imaging and laboratory: assisting with radiographs (including dental x-ray) and ultrasonography and use of the in-house laboratory equipment.
The successful candidate needs to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse although Student Veterinary Nurses will be considered.
The Role:
•Full Time role - 35 hours per week
•Monday - Friday (can be worked over 4 or 5 days)
•1 in 5/6 Saturday mornings (8.30am - 1pm)
•No on-call
