Summary

Location: Wallsend

Hours of work: 7 hours per week weekends + opportunity for extra hours holiday/sickness cover.

Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour




I am registered severely sight impaired, I live with my 2 children, my guide dog and my pet dog. I love going on long walks with the dogs and sitting down for a coffee and cake after. I am a keen baker, my son thinks I should open a cake shop they are so delicious! In the spring and summer we like to try and grow things in the garden. We enjoy days out at weekends and school holidays to National Trust, soft play, swimming, trampolining with my children. The position will involve assisting me to get out into the community by acting as a pair of eyes for me. To do this I require someone who is confident with verbal communication and can drive my automatic car. In the home I require support with a variety of domestic tasks.

Training will be provided for the role, having enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards Disabled people along with a sense of humour are very important attributes for my PA to have.

A clean valid driving licence is essential for this role. You must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
