Summary

Hours: 20 hours per week

Shift pattern - 11am – 4pm 4 days per week

Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour

Area: Gateshead NE9



Female aged 36 requires support in and outside of her home. They love singing, drama and attending the theatre and are sociable and outgoing.




Brief details of the job:

To provide support to go out into the community/attend local events & social events.

Assist with medication as directed by employer.

Assist with housework.

To prompt with personal care.




Applicants need to be outgoing, sociable and have a sense of humour and make a positive impact in their life.

It is essential that the applicant should have previous experience in working with or supporting a person who has mental health difficulties.

Must be friendly and empathetic and have good communication skills.

Car driver essential



There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.

A full DBS will be required, this will be funded by the employer.
