We follow safer recruitment practices and appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and full employment checks.We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working candidate to take on the role of an after school club supervisor to help provide an outstanding provision that promotes and supports a range of positive after school opportunities in a caring, engaging and safe environment. Our after school supervisors need to be organised and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate and interact with both children and parents effectively. 6 hours per week (Wednesday and Thursday 3:00 - 6:00), term time only.

• Provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities • Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework • Undertake any necessary training • Encourage community-wide participation and activity planning and delivery • Develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs • Consult with the children and involve them in the planning of activities • Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner • Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the food safety act 1990 • Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered
