Are you a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Our vibrant and inclusive partner school in Feltham are currently seeking a skilled HLTA to provide PPA cover and group support to children across the primary curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PPA cover across the school, ensuring continuity and progression in learning for all pupils
- Provide targeted support and intervention to children performing below age-expected levels
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers to aid their ongoing development
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a HLTA within a primary school setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and its application for primary-aged children
- Experience in supporting children with special educational needs, including knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
