Summary

Reporting to: Direct Payment Employer

Location: Gosforth, Newcastle

Hours of work: There are a variety of shifts available and you are welcome to apply for a combination of shifts to suit the amount of hours you are looking for. Hours available will cover the following and can be discussed at interview.

Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour



Term Time

Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:00am




School Holidays - a variety of shifts are available and 2:1 support is provided

Monday to Friday 9.30am - 3.30pm

Monday 12 - 3.30pm

Wednesday & Friday 12.30pm - 3.30pm




Weekends all year round

Saturday 3.30pm - 9.30pm

Saturday 11.30am - 3.30pm

Sunday 9.30am - 3.30pm




Are you enthusiastic, confident and able to support young people to develop skills and confidence? Then I would love to hear from you! I have two children, 13 and 15 and I am looking for some positive and enthusiastic people to join our lovely team of Personal Assistants. You will work alongside myself or other PAs to support the children on a one to one or two to one basis.

Nature of the job role:

To support them in developing their independent living skills, social skills and self-care skills.

It will be an ideal position for someone who would like and is able to help young people develop their independence and gain skills ready to prepare them for adulthood. It will be an extremely rewarding job as you see them develop and become confident in their skills and abilities.

You will play an important part in helping them to do what matters to them, take part in activities that are important to them and that they enjoy doing, enabling them to have fun, see their friends and lead a good life.
