Summary
Revenues Quality Assurance Officer
Starting salary between £25284 and £30144 (pro rata) per annum
Part Time – 22 hours per week - a working pattern for these hours will be discussed with the successful applicant.
Based at Kings Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn
If you have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and have experience in a revenues environment we have an opportunity for you to join our Team.
You will ensure that billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates (NDR) take place efficiently. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the performance of Revenues staff and recording accuracy statics highlighting any training needs or enhancements identified. You will also provide technical information and offer guidance and support on Council Tax and NDR matters.
You will have 5 GCSE’s grade 4-9 / C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English with a thorough knowledge of legislation covering Council Tax and Business Rates billing, collection and recovery. You must have excellent numerical and analytical skills along with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
