Summary
A Vacancy at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
Are you an experienced digital technician who is has a strong desire to develop and promote the use of information technology (IT) and digital transformation Trust wide?
If you have enthusiasm and understanding of the benefits of what technology can deliver and want to be a crucial part of our team we would like to hear from you.
The post requires a digital technician who can work independently and can troubleshoot and resolve complex pharmacy IT systems related issues.
You will join the team at a time when the department is keen to innovate and further develop the use of technology and informatics to deliver our expanding digital agenda and quality improvement opportunities.

• Provide specialist and technical support to Trust IT users to enable effective use of the deployed client infrastructure.
• Manage and investigate queries within the pharmacy department with the aim of achieving first time fixes for the majority of contacts.
• Regularly reporting to the Specialist Pharmacy Technician -Digital and the Pharmacy Digital Team, to discuss and plan daily workload.
• Provide support to the Specialist Pharmacy Technician - Digital with implementation of new pharmacy systems.
• Ensure the safe implementation and operation of the EPMA software.
• Maintaining other digital systems within pharmacy.
• Supporting implementation of a new EPR and other pharmacy digital systems.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) King's Lynn is West Norfolk has a superb unspoilt coastline with pretty villages, all with their own individual charm. The medieval port of King's Lynn has some very interesting architecture.
We provide a comprehensive range of specialist and general acute services to around 331,000 people across West and North Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire. We have more than 4,000 staff and volunteers and approximately 500 beds on a single site. Some specialist services and clinics are provided in community facilities, such as the North Cambridgeshire hospital in Wisbech. We work in partnership with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services.
In February 2022 the QEH the Care Quality Commission rated the Trust as 'Good' in all of the core services they inspected, and recommended the Trust moves out of the recovery support system (formerly special measures).
We are delighted to have been added to the New Hospital Programme – and we look forward to bringing a new Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) to King’s Lynn and West Norfolk which is nothing less than our patients, local communities and staff deserve.
