Summary
St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s UTC are looking for person who would be interested in a career as an Emergency Practitioner this is the apprenticeship for you.
To commence on an agreed training Programme to develop the necessary skills required to work autonomously to assess and treat adults and children attending urgent care services with minor injuries and minor health problems.
To support patients to receive the right care by the right person as quickly as possible. To provide urgent attention to an illness or injury that is not a life-threatening situation.
This role will start at band 6 to progress to Band 7 on successful completion of training.

With nearly 9,000 dedicated staff caring for patients around the clock, St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the largest healthcare provider in southwest London.
The main site, St George’s Hospital in Tooting – one of the country’s principal teaching hospitals – is shared with St George’s, University of London, which trains medical students and carries out advanced medical research. St George’s Hospital also hosts the St George’s, University of London Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences, which is responsible for training a wide range of healthcare professionals from across the region.
As well as acute hospital services, they provide a wide variety of specialist care and a full range of community services to patients of all ages following integration with Community Services Wandsworth in 2010. This includes the Enhanced Primary Care Hub at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton providing specialist care in minor injuries and minor illness to the local population.
