Summary

We’re hiring for a Bank Support Workers at Elm Tree Farm in Stapleton.

We are seeking Bank Support Workers for our team at Elm Tree Farm. We offer employment to adults with learning disability and autism working with live stock, wood work and ceramics.

Rota's are planned in advance.

You will:

Have experience of working in a care farm setting or a similar support role which specialised in animal care, wood work and upcycling or ceramics.

A full clean driving licence

Have good communication skills

Have a positive and patient approach and be able to build professional relationships

Be resilient and respect people’s differences.

Be a confident problem solver and creative thinker.

Work well as part of a team.

Your responsibilities:

Support people with learning disabilities to achieve their desired outcomes.

Support the team where required to maintain a safe working environment while promoting positive risk taking.

Complete PPE checks, H&S checks, vehicle checks and tool inventories.

Working collaboratively with the supported employees to identify their strengths and areas for progression.

Be a champion for maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring everyone adheres to health and safety protocols.

Attend supervisions, complete identified training.

Deliver excellent customer service.
